Job Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for hanging and setting up tools in preparation for production run, as well as starting up production jobs and troubleshooting
Set-up and start production jobs as well as adjust and troubleshoot these jobs when issues arise during a production run according to work instructions
Perform mold tooling inventory control
Press tear down, follow mold pull procedure
General shop maintenance, cleaning and organization
Update ERP system for down-time codes or setup of tools
Ensure press is running properly; communicate any problems to supervisor
Education and Experience
High School Diploma, GED or 12 years formal education preferred, but not required
Must have good basic math skills
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Minimum of 5 years of injection molding experience is preferred
Good Mechanical experience
Ability to lift 60+ pounds, climb up and down stairs, and stand for up to 8 hours
Ability to operate a forklift
