Great company seeking a long haul Flat-Bed Driver

*Must have clean MVR

*Must have a VALID Class A GEORGIA CDL

*Must have good job stability/longevity

*Must have 2+ years of flatbed experience

*Must have stable employment history

*Must have a current DOT card

*Must have a valid Passport (Will be going to Canada)

*Must be able to pass any pre- employment screening including background check and drug screen

*Leave out Sunday from Austell GA come back Thursday

Responsibilities:

• - Safely operate a long-haul truck to transport goods and materials on a dedicate route between Atlanta GA, Carolinas, NJ, and Hamilton, ONT Canada, sometimes Kentucky

• - Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries

• - Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or heavy machinery

• - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and functionality

• - Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road

• - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays

• - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members

Qualifications:

• - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record

• - Passport required to travel to Canada

• - Must be admissible to enter Canada

• - Border cross experience an asset

• - Ability to pass DOT drug screen

• - Flatbed experience required

• - Proven experience as a long-haul driver or in a similar role

• - Knowledge of safe driving practices and ability to navigate various road conditions

• - Tow motor and side loader experience an asset

• - Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

• - Strong communication and customer service skills

• - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
