JOB DESCRIPTION - Electric Mechanical Maintenance

Hours: 8am-5pm (M-F)

Pay: $20.00 – after Hired - $21.63/$24.03

Background Check and Drug Test (Hair Follicle)

Principle Job Duties 

• Operate horizontal lathes, vertical mills, band saws, presses, drills, grinders and welders. 

• Read and understand blueprints. 

• Repair and/or fabricate small parts for production machines to keep them running. 

• Perform lay changes in machines when needed for new product run. 

• Change tooling in machines as needed to set-up for new products. 

• Assist with repairs when production machines are down 

• Perform PM on machines as needed on a schedule calendar 

• Work with outside vendors to keep existing equipment running at 100% machine efficiency. 

• Work as a team member with other maintenance personnel, production personnel and Management to try and improve productivity and reduce equipment downtime. 

• Order parts and materials to support equipment and plant facilities as needed with outside vendors. 

• Assist in any other duties as requested by Management. 

  Requirements and Qualifications Needed  

• Basic knowledge in the use of measuring and use of hand tools 

• Able to operate forklift 

• Able to lift up to 70 pounds 

• Knowledge of lathes, mills, presses, etc. 

• Material Handling Safety 

• Back Safety Training 

• Hazardous Material Training 

• ISO Training 

• Compressed Gas Cylinder Training 

• Minimum 5 years Maintenance Experience 

  Responsibility and Authority Regarding Non-Conforming Product 

• Has authority to stop production of manufacturing equipment, but must immediately notify Maintenance Manager, shift supervisor or department manager.
