JOB TITLE: Avionics Technician
LOCATION: Grand Prairie, Tx
PAY: $25-$32/hr DOE

REPORTS TO: Avionics Supervisor
NON-EXEMPT: Yes (Employee IS entitled to overtime pay).
This is a temp to hire opportunity!
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To install, checkout, troubleshoot, and repair avionics and mission equipment.
Develop / Design cabin, cockpit and avionics bay equipment layouts. Plan wire harness routing, fabricate, terminate and install wiring harnesses. Perform system configuration and functional checks. Perform certification of avionics systems. Keep accurate records of installation, configuration and repair documents.
The avionics technician will be performing installations and removals of avionics and mission equipment, troubleshooting and repairing avionics and mission systems and performing certifications of avionics systems that require certification.
A basic understanding of electrical/electronic theory.
2 years of avionics installation experience.
Knowledge of avionics systems.
Familiarization with Agusta 139.
Factory trained on 139 Agusta. Must have recent hands on experience on the 139 model. Must be familiar with integration. A&P License with a minimum of 2 years hands on recent experience. Must have a basic knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, FAA documentation and must possess basic computer skills using the English language.
OTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A&P License- preferred 139 Certified Minimum of 2 years hands on recent experience. Must possess basic computer skills using the English language. A technician with flight line and track & balance experience is preferred.
