Company in Duncan, SC is in need of a Responsible and reliable Janitor!
The janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of ALL three buildings (office, plant and both warehouses) by performing various cleaning duties as described in the Cleaning Maintenance Schedule.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Note: This is not an all inclusive list. Additional duties may be assigned.
Restrooms Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc. Replenishes
bathroom supplies. Remove Cobwebs. Sweep and Mop floors.
Floors Sweeps and mops floors u3: 30pmsing brooms, mops and vacuum cleaners. Other floor
work may be required in the plant and warehouse area such as cleaning the floor level pallets and removing paper dust from plant area and all surfaces.
Lunchrooms Cleans and disinfects floors, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, etc. Replenishes break room supplies.
Dust Given the nature of our company managing the dust that is produced by the paper is a priority and should be completed on a daily basis.
Trash Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transports to disposal area.
Other Duties Clean rugs, Dust walls, doors, tables, frames and baseboards.

Reports to work each day on time.
Employee must comply with proper safety policies and procedures as required (i.E. When using cleaning chemicals, reporting incidents, etc).
The employee must follow the guidelines provided to accomplish these tasks successfully.
The employee must be able to determine the neatness, accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.
The company will provide feedback regarding the job performance and level of satisfaction on a regular basis.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
Walk and stand
Reach and grasp
Push and pull objects
Lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, sometimes over shoulder.
Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen.
Reliable transportation is a must.
