Administrative Assistant needed in Duncan, SC!
We have a well-established and growing paper manufacturer looking for an honest and dependable person with excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work well with others and multi-task in a fast paced environment. General office experience is required. Basic accounting knowledge is a plus. We seek ambitious individuals who thrive to learn.
This position is temp to hired based on attendance and performance and offers an opportunity for growth and career advancement!
Bi-lingual is plus, however is not required.
Answering and transferring phone calls
Receive and organize all paperwork such as shipping and receiving paperwork
Electronically scan and upload documents
Physically file paper documents
Maintain office supplies in stock
Maintain office appearance neat
Effectively communicate with office co-workers
Maintain general knowledge of current issues and events
Maintain consistent communication with the remote office
Contribute to a teamwork oriented environment
Schedule courier shipments (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
5 years of office experience required
Experience with Microsoft Excel (applicants will be required to complete an Excel skills assessment test)
Excellent telephone etiquette
Excellent communication skills
Pleasant customer service skills
Ability to follow instructions precisely
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Proficient in e-mail and online applications
Positive thinker with a positive attitude
Able to take control of responsibilities
Able to think ahead and be proactive
Willing to learn and apply oneself
Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen.
Reliable transportation is a must.
