Manufacturing Production Associate
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
1st shift start as early as 730am 8-10 hour shifts
Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
We are seeking a reliable candidate for a temp to hire position.
Position Overview
An Assembler is responsible for assembling parts, components, or finished products according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical instructions, and the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and machinery to complete assemblies efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble parts, components, or products according to blueprints, CAD drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, or work instructions.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers, to verify product specifications and quality standards.
Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with company standards.
Identify, troubleshoot, and report defects, damages, or inconsistencies in materials or products.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety procedures.
Meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing products for shipment as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for precise assembly work.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, schematics, and technical instructions.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic mechanical knowledge.
Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials (typically 25–50 lbs).
Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of recent, stable manufacturing experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
Strong attention to detail and ability to retain information
Mechanically inclined with basic hand tool knowledge
Blueprint reading knowledge required
Experience using micrometers preferred
Deburring experience a plus
Comfortable with repetitive work and getting slightly dirty
Steel-toe footwear required
Strong attendance and punctuality
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Must pass a background check and 10-panel drug screen
