Conroe based Manufacturing facility known to be one of the #1 Leader s Worldwide in the production and distribution of aluminum products is currently conducting interviews for qualified Baler Operator | Forklift Technicians. All qualified candidates will work on a possible long term " Temp to Hire" basis upon completion of the necessary probationary period & reevaluation. The Baler Operator is required to perform a variety of basic tasks within the production guidelines and plant environment. Qualified candidates must work over night shift Monday - Friday 7: 00pm - 3: 30am and O.T. When required.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

The Baler Operator works closely with team members on the line to ensure the smooth daily functioning of production and line needs. The Baler Operator is also responsible for moving materials around the production floor. The Baler Operator will also be able to load and unload trucks within the shipping and warehouse area. Key components of the position will also maintaining product for the production line, safety practices and facilitation of teamwork.

Move controls, levers, and devices to drive industrial forklifts to transport materials between loading, unloading, processing and storage areas.
Organize and secure materials where loads of materials and pallets are stored.

Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment to ensure forklift equipment is operating well.

Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms or lifting devices.

Complete baler operator training annually to ensure safe operating practices.

Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

Ensures quality of handled product is maintained.

Flexible to move to various areas of plant, as needed.

Loading outbound customer shipments, unloading raw material.

Perform other duties as needed.


Required Job Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 2-3 year s++ previous manufacturing & production experience.
Understands equipment needs and modifications.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other team members.
Strong positive attitude and ability to lead by example.
Knowledge and appreciation of plant policies.

Ability to receive and give feedback.

Strong attention to detail and ability to establish and maintain a high level of organization and quality.

Familiarization with quality standards and line processes.

Commitment to Crown Hanover s safety policies and practices.

Overtime maybe required.


Physical Requirements:
Sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, twisting, climbing, balancing, bending, lifting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, squatting, repetitive motions, manipulative finger movements with both hands, use of wrists, flexing or rotating with both wrists, use of both feet, use of arms above and below shoulder, perform duties in all climates, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
