Must be able to work 8am-6pm Monday-Friday and some Saturdays as needed

Job Summary: 

The Maintenance Lead will oversee the maintenance activities within a Food manufacturing company. This role involves ensuring that all equipment and machinery are operating efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a high standard of quality and productivity. The Maintenance Lead will be responsible for managing the maintenance team, planning and scheduling maintenance tasks, and implementing preventive maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the maintenance team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Ensure all equipment, machinery, and facilities are operating safely and efficiently.

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices to improve equipment reliability and performance.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.

• Coordinate with production teams to ensure maintenance activities are aligned with production schedules.

• Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, including the procurement of spare parts and maintenance supplies.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

• Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance team and other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience in maintenance management, preferably in the Food manufacturing

• Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.

• Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
