Job Description

Must have 3+ years of Cabinet Building experience (Millwork/Wood, Carpentry)

Must have experience with hand tools.

Will be assembling cabinets and must be able to handle lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly

Must have reliable transportation to and from work (Attendance issues will NOT be tolerated- this is a temp to hire position)

Must be able to read blueprints.

Must be able to pass any employment screening required for position.

Steel toed boots required.

Normal hours are 6am-230pm Monday-Friday

$20-$22 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

As they enter their bu sy times will be as followed as needed to handle workload

6am 4:30pm Monday Thursday

6am 2:30pm Friday

6am Noon or 2:30pm on Saturdays (some Saturdays)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manufactures wood products according to drawings and specifications.

  • Complete complex tasks per schedule, adjusting for changing priorities.

  • Assures that work area and aisles around them are kept clean and free of debris.

  • Assures that parts or subassemblies and finished product are labeled correctly.

  • Other duties which may be assigned on an as required basis

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Follows procedures.

  • Maintains a professional attitude when approaching work assignments.

  • Displays a sense of urgency towards completing assigned tasks.

  • Assists in developing timely solutions to problems.

  • Maintains outstanding attendance.

  • Ability to read and interpret complex drawing.

  • Extensive knowledge of materials, wood working processes and wood working tools.

  • Must know machine set-ups for a wide variety of woodworking equipment.

  • Assists in developing timely solutions to problems.

  • Must pass a tape measure and math skill test.

  • Miter Box/ Chop Saw

  • Pneumatic T-Nailers

  • Laminator (Familiar with contact cement and a cup gun to spray different type surfaces consistently in production capacity)

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years experience in a manufacturing facility.

  • MUST have at least 3+ year experience building wood products.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions and physical requirements:
Working conditions are normal for a plant environment. Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time. Use hands and fingers, able to bend, reach hand over shoulders, climb, push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs.
