Client in Anderson, SC is in the market for Machinist and CNC Machine Operators

Hours:

7:30am – 3:30pm (M-F); however, they are currently working the following hours:

7:00am – 5:30pm (Monday – Thursday)

7:00am – 3:30pm (Friday)

7am-12noon (Saturday) Volunteers

(2) – 10 minute paid breaks & 30 minute Lunch unpaid

Pay Range:

$14-$16 1^st level;

$16-$19 2^nd level;

$20-$25 3^rd level)

Machinist

• CNC Lathe and Mill Programmers using Fanuc controls

• Boring Mill Operator

• OOYA Operator

 CNC Machinist qualifications:

• Must be able to read blueprints and use calipers/micrometers

• Must be proficient in reading a tape measure

• Must be able to convert metric to standard

• Basic machine programming using “G” and “M” codes

• Basic machine practices (Deburring parts, drilling and tapping holes, cutting key-ways, indicating vices, and off-setting tools)

• Will probably run two machines – work is different every day – familiar with all metals

• Must be able to program

• Must be able to convert metric to standard and vice versa

• Safety glasses – will provide first pair; Steel toe not required; Long pants

• Background Checks and Drug TEST – this company does administer random drug test
