CHASE Professionals is actively looking for CNC Mill Operators with experience in the metals industry to work 2nd shift in Pineville, NC.
Hours: 4pm to 12: 00am Monday-Friday
Pay: $15-$18/HR (DOE)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (but not limited to). Other duties may be assigned.
Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.
Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
Assembles and sets size and length of cutting tool assemblies using special tool setting equipment.
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
Measures parts for conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using mechanical, electronic, or computer controlled CMM equipment.
Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
Cleans work area and maintains the organization of work area
Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining problems.
Reports all production daily to insure accurate inventory.
Have 7+ years experience of CNC Mills
Knowledge of CNC Mills set up and operation
MUST have experience in metals industry
Able to read schematics, drawing and/or blueprints
Able to use various metrology equipment such as micrometers, pin gauges, height gauges, calipers, etc.
*Must be willing to complete a Background and Drug Screen
