Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Must have 2-3+ years of recent CNC Programming experience (This is not an entry level position, company required experience)

Position Summary (major areas of contribution):

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Engineering, the CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating new programs and modifying existing programs for the production of all wood parts to be cut on CNC and beam saw machines.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

Program machines with WoodWop, CutRite, Router CIM Automation Suite, etc.

Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, and other data and then perform all the necessary calculations.

Write new programs and modify existing programs.

Ensure that the machines and programs operate correctly and that finished parts and products meet specifications.

Must utilize material yield properly.

Able to work Saturdays as needed.

Experience (type and amount of experience required):

High school diploma or equivalent.

1+years of experience with CNC programming software required: Wood Wop, Cutrite and RouterCM Automation Suite preferred.

Experience with AutoCAD required.

Experience with 3D Software such as Solidworks, Inventor, or Solid Edge experience preferred.

Knowledge of wood materials required.

Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems required.

Ability to read a cutlist.

Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will prolong periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 20 pounds. Must wear PPE at all times while on the shop floor.

Background and drug test are required for the position
