Blend chemicals as scheduled by your team leader, in a safe and clean environment. Focusing on deadlines, efficiencies and producing a quality product. The Production Operator is expected to follow all SOP s (standard operating procedures), GMP s (Good Manufacturing Principles), and Food Safety Guidelines.
Essential Functions

Review work order before starting. Any questions should be taken to your Team Leader.
Per order to be blended, pull required materials from stock, blend, return materials back to stock after order is completed.
Clean work area after each order is completed.
Be prepared to assist in/or clean any area of the floor where spillage may have occurred.
Must follow all programs to insure a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
Assist co-workers when needed.
Assist with the cleaning, equipment maintenance, and work area cleanliness.
Assist with inventory stock.
Ensure that materials are in their proper space and properly closed for storage.
Assist with packaging of finished product.
Follow all trainings and guidelines required your safety and in maintaining a healthy working environment for all.
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) rules, and Quality Safety responsibilities.
Monitor and document all necessary procedures as required by regulatory bodies.
Food Safety duties as assigned.
Perform other duties as required.
Forklift training and safety.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Travel No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience High school degree or GED.
Previous compounding experience.
Experience in food manufacturing a plus.
