Conversational and Manual Machinist - Piedmont, SC

 

Hours: 6am-2:45pm (M-F)

Pay: $28.00

Drug Test Required

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Conversational and Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating and programming conversational CNC lathes and mills, as well as traditional manual machining equipment. This position is critical for producing high-quality precision parts according to specifications, while ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced work environment.

 

Responsibilities:

- Set up, program, and operate conversational CNC and manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to manufacture precision parts.

- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate part production.

- Select, install, and adjust cutting tools and tooling.

- Monitor and inspect parts during production to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards. - Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.

- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address technical issues, suggest improvements, and troubleshoot machining processes.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

- Document and report production data, including time, materials, and quality metrics. Qualifications:

 

Experience: 3+ years of experience in both conversational CNC and manual machining
