Client in Greenville, SC is in the market for a Credit Clerk to work at the corporate office.
Pay: $17.50
Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm (M-F)
Summary of Functions:
The Credit Assistant shall function under the supervision of the Corporate Credit Manager and Accounting Manager. It shall be the duty of the Credit Department to build a broad and durable customer base for the Corporation. Credit arrangements which extend beyond our regular selling terms are to be made only when justified by unusual circumstances, and then on a temporary basis and by mutual agreement between the Credit Department and the approval of the President.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
A/R duties
Answer phones, direct foot traffic
Keep information Confidential
Pull Credit Reports as needed
Maintain Accounts Receivable emails
Daily A/R deposits
Approve credit holds/clearance codes
Setup new jobs
Letters
Send approval denial letters
Maintain Credit Department in absence of Credit Manager
Document Imaging /invoices, credit applications
Organize call list for Marketing
Pick/invoice tickets as needed- Invoice credits as needed
Create new customer files
Answer customer related questions
Post A/R payments as needed
Review/update Certificates of Insurance list
Misc mailings
Minimal supervision
Dependable
