This position will be working in an office environment, utilizing typical office equipment. The majority of time will be spent on the phone and computer.
This position would work closely with the Credit staff on a day-to-day basis to ensure productivity, troubleshoot questions, problems, and uncommon inquiries. Assists management in establishing general credit limit guidelines based on customer credit history, approving and establishing customer payments plans, and writing off or working with senior management to collect bad debt. Work closely with staff to develop effective collections strategies, and may be responsible for collections for certain customer accounts. Handles escalated customer calls in an attempt to settle unresolved issues. Ensures that work is properly distributed among staff.
