You will be working side-by-side with employees learning the process, terminology, and skills required to be successful in a fast-paced operation handling a varied customer base.
Job duties will include:
Entering data for importations of shipments and transmission to government agencies (Customs, FDA, etc)
Following up with various supply chain entities such as steam ship lines, truckers, forwarding agents, terminals, etc.
Clerical duties include but not limited to: filing, answering phones, creating Fedex labels, etc.
Training will be provided
Possesses a strong work ethic is reliable, and professional attitude
Has a sense of urgency, is adaptable and a self-starter
Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to interact with a variety of people in a professional manner
Must be able to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and timeliness
Willing to pitch in an help on last minute projects or assist team members
College degree preferred (Supply Chain)
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Outlook; Web browsers (IE, Chrome, etc)
Must be quick and accurate in typing
Must be detail oriented, organized, able to multitask well and prioritize their work.
