JOB DESCRIPTION - Electric Mechanical Maintenance
Hours: 8am-5pm (M-F)
Pay: $20.00 – after Hired - $21.63/$24.03
Background Check and Drug Test (Hair Follicle)
Principle Job Duties
Operate horizontal lathes, vertical mills, band saws, presses, drills, grinders and welders.
Read and understand blueprints.
Repair and/or fabricate small parts for production machines to keep them running.
Perform lay changes in machines when needed for new product run.
Change tooling in machines as needed to set-up for new products.
Assist with repairs when production machines are down
Perform PM on machines as needed on a schedule calendar
Work with outside vendors to keep existing equipment running at 100% machine efficiency.
Work as a team member with other maintenance personnel, production personnel and Management to try and improve productivity and reduce equipment downtime.
Order parts and materials to support equipment and plant facilities as needed with outside vendors.
Assist in any other duties as requested by Management.
Requirements and Qualifications Needed
Basic knowledge in the use of measuring and use of hand tools
Able to operate forklift
Able to lift up to 70 pounds
Knowledge of lathes, mills, presses, etc.
Material Handling Safety
Back Safety Training
Hazardous Material Training
Compressed Gas Cylinder Training
Minimum 5 years Maintenance Experience
Responsibility and Authority Regarding Non-Conforming Product
Has authority to stop production of manufacturing equipment, but must immediately notify Maintenance Manager, shift supervisor or department manager.
