Electrical-Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Williamston, SC
Hours: 4am – 2:30pm (M-F) Hours are to be determined; however, it will be a 1st shift position
Pay: $30/$34 (Depends on Experience)
Ability to troubleshoot stamping presses and other machines. Should have strong electronic and programming skills, mechanical ability and a working knowledge of hydraulics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand and follows all safety rules.
Responsible for maintaining all equipment and plant facilities with a focus on electrical circuits and systems.
Must be able to troubleshoot electrical and electronic circuitry
Must have the ability to read and understand ladder logic.
Read and interpret machine manuals to perform required preventive maintenance and annual inspections.
Recognize and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, and affect repairs to maintain production.
Must be able to trouble shoot PLC’S, HMI’s, AC/DC Drives, Input/output Modules and Motors.
Install new machinery, overhaul equipment, rebuild and fabricate parts as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum five years previous experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
High school education or equivalent.
Excellent, demonstrated electrical and mechanical skills.
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Basic knowledge of mig welders, cutting torches and fabrication preferred.
Understand and practice LOTO policies and procedures
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Willingness to work in a team environment.
Ability to calculate and comprehend necessary math concepts.
Must be able to use computerbased programs (Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens) to program equipment.
Must have a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement at all times.
Ability to complete required paperwork through basic reading and writing skills.
Ability to move up to 35 pounds.
Ability to obtain an industrial powered lift truck and overhead crane license.
Ability to be trained to operate a scissor lift.
General knowledge of various metal stamping equipment.
Preferred knowledge and use of a multimeter to check 3 phase voltage on equipment
Must have own toolbox and basic tools.
