Manufacturing client in Duncan is in the market for a Field Service Technician - performs on-site repairs and maintenance of sleeve bearings.
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, for a total of 38 hours per week.
Overtime/additional work time is required when necessary.
Pay: $20/$25 (Depends on Expereince)
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Performs emergency and scheduled maintenance and repairs of RENK sleeve bearings at customer job sites.
Performs mechanic work including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
While in the office, remotely provides technical expertise to help customers troubleshoot.
Assists in the shop, where needed, while in the office.
May complete facility repairs and maintenance while in the office.
Comply with OSHA safety and health rules/regulations.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and/or vibration. The employee is regularly exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at customer job sites. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Domestic and international travel is required for this position, up to 60%.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with service/repair of bearings or similar industry.
Working knowledge of the metric system.
Ability to read/understand blueprints.
Preferred Education and Experience
Technical degree.
Rigging experience preferred.
Experience with sleeve bearings, rotating equipment, and industrial gears.
