Forklift Operator – Warehouse & Production Support
Location: Elgin, IL
Pay: Based on experience

We are currently seeking a Forklift Operator to support our warehouse and production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe handling, movement, shipping, and receiving of raw materials and finished goods using material handling equipment. This role plays a key part in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate all material handling equipment in accordance with company safety guidelines and procedures

• Load and unload inbound/outbound materials and finished goods following standard operating procedures

• Record and track all material movement (raw materials, packaging, supplies, finished goods) in compliance with company policies

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including regular sweeping and trash removal

• Document and promptly report any equipment malfunctions to plant management

• Support the Warehouse Supervisor with additional tasks related to warehouse and production operations

• Follow safety, quality, and regulatory procedures, including contamination and suspicious activity reporting

• Contribute to the overall quality, legality, and safety of all products and production processes

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required

• Experience: At least 1 year of forklift experience and/or formal training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Math Ability: Able to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) with whole numbers, decimals, and fractions

• Reasoning Ability: Capable of understanding and following written, oral, or diagram instructions; able to solve problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations

• Licenses: Must hold a valid forklift operator license
