Front End Loader Operator
Shift 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Pay $ 17.45
Summary of Primary Functions:
To keep the bins supplied with sand, gravel, cement or other material by operating the front end loader. May be required to assist Loading Crew.
Machines, Tools, and Equipment Used :
Front end loader, conveyors, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes, grease gun, etc.
Sand, gravel, cement, aggregate and other materials
Supervision Received :
Reports to Batch Plant Supervisor or Loading Supervisor. Works with some supervision
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
Drive front end loader to stockpile, pick up load and transport to appropriate bin
Engage control panel to move conveyor to bin that needs aggregate
Continue to transport sand, gravel, cement, or other material to conveyor until full
Drive front end loader to pit under mixer, pick up unused concrete from pit and haul to disposal area
Perform miscellaneous duties such as hauling, dumping, scraping, and general yard maintenance with front end loader
Empty trash bins with front end loader and haul to disposal area as needed
Empty trash bins and clean up with front end loader and haul to disposal area as needed
Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor
Requires ability to make independent decisions including:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form. Ability to deal with problems various situations

Daily contact with fellow employees, management
Job Specifications or Qualifications
Certificates, Licenses, Registration : None
Education : High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
Experience: one to three year related experience and/or training
Supervisory Experience: None
