Job Summary

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for directly supporting the Inside Sales Manager and Sales team in meeting the overall goals and targets of the organization. Additionally, the Inside sales representatives will indirectly sell the company products and services to third-party vendors. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic about learning new things with good attention, supporting sales activities, analyzing forecast numbers, and applying computer skills to fulfill the assigned tasks. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: 

 Filing and logging commercial items and dates including sales quotations, distributor rebates, special price requests, etc. 

  • Review, upload, and maintain pricing and surcharges into SAP. 

  • Support sales forecast activities including tracking forecast due dates, adding new forecast material numbers to IBP, downloading updated forecasts, integrating the forecast into the order book, and analyzing forecast numbers. 

  • Confirm and feed forecast volume information based on each engine bill of material and accessory kit contents, to other internal departs where needed.  

  • Support engine conversion projects internally, such as running parts availability, updating the parts list, and following up with parts orders. 

  • Check inventory on both engines and parts per request from the sales team. 

  • Set up new user accounts for different sales tools and update responsible sales in these tools and the customer master list. 

  • Create and update PowerPoint slides, especially sales and commercial-related slides. 

  • Download the marketing database and generate customized reports for the sales team. 

  • Support Inside Sales Manager with onboard training for new sales staff. 

  • Any other tasks that are assigned by the Inside Sales Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities: Individual Contributor 

Travel Demands: Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 10% depending on business needs.

 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree or related business experience 

 

1-2 years of experience in a business-to-business environment, preferably in the automotive or off-highway industrial markets. 

 

Strong in detail with strong analytical skills 

 

Familiar with Excel including pivot table, lookup, and basic formula 

 

Familiar with SAP-ERP 

 

 

 

 

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  • Strong in detail with good organizing skills 

  • Technical aptitude 

  • Knowledge of competitors and their applications 

  • Ability to influence and communicate at all levels. 

  • Excellent verbal and written skills 

  • Ability to work in a team environment. 

LANGUAGE ABILITY

??Read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, agencies or members of the business community. Write speeches and articles for publication.? 

MATHEMATICAL ABILITY: 

??Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.? 

 REASONING ABILITY: 

??Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.?
