Industrial Maintenance Technician

Lithia Springs/Fulton Industrial area

Normal hours are Monday-Thursday 6am-430pm May work occasional Friday or weekends if needed

$25 per hour

Maintenance technician performs maintenance and repairs on all equipment and machinery used throughout the facilities. Duties include performing a wide range of tasks around all the facilities.

• Perform preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance of all associated plant equipment.

• All work must be completed following work orders, PM’s and company policies and procedures.

• Ensure that all forms and work order documentation are completed with accurate information.

• Respond to calls and conduct repairs throughout the facility. May be assigned to escort a contractor performing work on the premises.

• Provide support for the start-up of new equipment to ensure it meets all mechanical design specifications.

• Demonstrate progress for increasing job knowledge and proficiency in technical understanding/problem solving.

• Working with other technicians to complete tasks when needed.

• Must follow safety rules and ensure compliance with GA state and Federal OSHA regulations.

• Other various duties as needed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance or equivalent military experience is preferred.

• Read and understand technical manuals and wiring schematics.

• Sound ability to troubleshoot 24v control and PLC based systems.

• Knowledge and ability to wire 230/480V 3Ø systems and circuits.

• Experience working with CMMS system and completing work orders.

• Interpersonal skills to interact with employees in a pleasant manner and be a team player.

• Attention to details to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.

• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working.

• Technicians are required to provide their own basic tools.

• Lift truck experience, examples: forklift, scissor lift, boom lift.

Other requirements

• Valid Driver’s License and working, reliable transportation.

• Reliable way of communication.
