Industrial MECHANIC

$18-$28 Depending on experience

Company is looking for a Mechanic with a strong mechanical aptitude. This candidate would apply technical knowledge to establish appropriate course of action for completion of each job. They would be able to follow work instructions/job scope. This individual would demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills for cross training purposes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete teardown, diagnosis, and repair of industrial equipment* according to established guidelines

Uses appropriate teardown markings that may be understood by other staff members

Complete appropriate testing upon completion of assembly

Determines appropriate parts for repair of mechanical equipment

Establish the correct machining needs for the job and completes the documentation to request machining work from the Machine Shop

Complete all test/inspection documentation

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Good mechanical ability

Diagnose issues accurately

Ability to troubleshoot, repair and move heavy pieces of machinery

Own Tools

*electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, blowers, hydraulics

1st shift

Must have own transportation and valid driver's license

Must be able to pass any pre-employment screening required
