Production Manufacturing Technician – Additive Manufacturing

Location: Powder Springs / Douglasville / Lithia Springs Area
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday with overtime/weekend flexibility as needed
The Ideal candidate will be able to work any of the below hours/shifts if needed
• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking dependable, mechanically inclined Production Manufacturing Technicians to support daily operations in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. Candidates with additive manufacturing, CNC, machine operation, warehouse production, or industrial equipment experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

This position involves operating advanced manufacturing equipment, material handling, quality inspection, production support, and routine machine maintenance. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on production setting.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations
• Operate and monitor industrial manufacturing equipment and automated production systems
• Load and unload materials and production components
• Maintain production schedules and meet daily output goals
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic operational issues
• Support manufacturing workflow and continuous production operations

Material Handling & Processing
• Safely handle raw materials, powders, and production supplies
• Maintain inventory accuracy and material traceability
• Follow contamination control and workplace safety procedures
• Operate material handling equipment as needed

Finishing & Quality Inspection
• Clean, process, and finish manufactured parts
• Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and defects
• Perform packaging and preparation for shipment or downstream production
• Maintain production and quality documentation

Equipment Maintenance
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment
• Replace consumable machine components and filters
• Maintain equipment logs and production records
• Assist with troubleshooting and equipment servicing when needed

Qualifications

Required
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to use computers and basic manufacturing software
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Must live within reasonable commuting distance of Winston, GA

Preferred
• Manufacturing or production experience
• Additive manufacturing or 3D printing experience
• Experience operating CNC machines or industrial equipment (NOT CNC ROUTER)
• Familiarity with CAD/STL files or technical drawings
• Forklift certification
• Experience working in warehouse, assembly, fabrication, or machine shop environments
