Manufacturing Production Associate

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• Friday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Location: Douglasville, GA
Type: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Position Overview

A well-established manufacturing facility in Douglasville, GA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to support production operations. This role focuses on finishing machined parts and preparing products for assembly and outside services.

Key Responsibilities

• Buff, grind, route, clean, and deburr machined parts according to production schedules

• Gather, inventory, and stage products for production and shipment

• Prepare parts for assembly and/or outside processing

• Operate basic hand tools and finishing equipment

• Use manufacturing software to issue materials, report completed work, and review upcoming shipments

• Communicate with supervisors regarding incomplete assemblies, rework needs, or production delays

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production, quality, and delivery goals

• Move and handle materials as needed (up to 50 lbs.)

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of recent, stable manufacturing experience

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed

• Strong attention to detail and ability to retain information

• Mechanically inclined with basic hand tool knowledge

• Blueprint reading knowledge required

• Experience using micrometers preferred

• Deburring experience a plus

• Comfortable with repetitive work and getting slightly dirty

• Steel-toe footwear required

• Strong attendance and punctuality

• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Must pass a background check and 10-panel drug screen
