The Ingot Production Poly Prep Operator is responsible for preparing polysilicon materials for the ingot production process. This role involves handling raw materials, ensuring quality standards, operating machinery, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment. The operator will work closely with production and quality teams to optimize efficiency and maintain high-quality output.
Swing Shift: 6:00am – 6:30pm OR 6:00pm – 6:30am
Schedule: two days on, two days off
Pay rate: $19.50 - $20.50 per hour
Handle and prepare polysilicon materials for ingot production.
Operate, monitor, and maintain preparation equipment according to safety and quality guidelines.
Perform inspections on raw materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
Record and track material usage, waste, and production output.
Identify and troubleshoot equipment or process issues and escalate as needed.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure production consistency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to all company safety protocols and industry regulations.
Work collaboratively with team members to improve process efficiency.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the solar or semiconductor industry.
Experience with material handling and machinery operation.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
