Chase Staffing is looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Technician for the Roanoke Valley!

Job Title: Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $18–$20/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team on 1st shift. This role involves performing facility maintenance tasks and troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems (lighting, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery

• Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner

• Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

• Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in facility and machinery maintenance preferred

• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed

• Comfortable working in various environments (indoor/outdoor, noisy, etc.)
