Machine Operator/Travelers Rest, SC

Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm (M-F)

Pay: $13.50

MUST be able to pass a Drug TEST and have clean criminal background check

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to understand units of measure and record information.

• Willingness to work Saturday’s when necessary.

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written work-related instructions.

• Ability to work without close supervision.

• Ability to track and record production information as necessary.

• Must be able to occasionally lift and/ or carry up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to push and/or pull up to 200 pounds- using a pallet jack.

• Must be able to continuously stand and/or walk for extended periods of time on concrete surfaces and occasionally on slippery surface.

• Ability to repeatedly kneel, bend, crouch, and/or stoop throughout the shift as needed to successfully perform job duties.

Responsibilities:

• Operating assigned machines and all other associated work and assisting other operators as necessary.

• To be active in helping the site to continuously improve and develop with the aim of improving efficiency, performance, and reducing time and wastage.

• To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the process, plant, machinery, and associated equipment within their area of responsibility

• To be responsible for ensuring that First Time Quality is always a priority, and that quality is never compromised, and that ensure quality checks and procedures are complete.

• Maintain awareness of area for possible hazards such as loose wires, loose parts, puddled product, or water

• To be responsible for ensuring that all company standards and guidelines are consistently adhered to.

• To be a supportive team member working towards achieving true team empowerment
