This is a cross-trained role that requires: mail experience & document handling (imaging).
Pay: $14.50/hr.With increase after probationary period

The Office Services Specialist is responsible for analyzing, reviewing, preparing and submitting documents for scanning into Perceptive as part of the department profile. In addition, the Office Services Specialist is responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing mail received via UPS/FedEx/USPS/DHL or any other mail delivery services. The primary role in this position will be to work closely with various groups within the organization to ensure documents are reviewed and prepped efficiently for expedited imaging into an electronic format as outlined by the business unit and standard operating procedures. This position contributes to the overall success of the company by enhancing the organization s vitality through services provided to state and osteopathic medical boards.
Essential Job Functions:
Review, index, and prepare incoming confidential physician forms for scanning
Capture and validate documents into database for electronic processing
Conduct routine quality checks on electronically notarized documents
Properly distribute incoming and outgoing company mailing items
Perform shipping functions on specialized postage meter equipment
Research requests for documentation and utilize internal communication to relay findings
Maintain working relationship with third party vendors for conflict resolution
Act as an alternate for various document processing responsibilities within the departments Support Services and Student Records team
Provide clerical support (filing, copying, and shredding of confidential records)
Deliver proficient customer service according to established guidelines
Perform additional duties as assigned
Professional Background Required.
Minimum of Associates Degree or 3-4 years related work experience.
3-4 years of office experience; credentialing or detailed document review/comparison experience is a plus, mail experience, document handling, imaging. Customer service skills; preferably in a health care or professional association setting. Typing/data entry skills of 48-50 wpm with a high-level of accuracy; working knowledge of Windows environment, preferably with Microsoft Office.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written, oral, decision-making/problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to scrutinize and compare documents according to established procedures. In addition, the candidate must be able to prioritize job responsibilities, work independently, and make sound judgment decisions with limited supervision. He or she must also possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills with a demonstrated ability to work professionally and productively in accordance with company policy and procedures.
