Responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and overhaul of machine tools, fabricating equipment, welding, processing material handling, air conditioning, vehicle, crane of the plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Repair and troubleshooting of electronic controls on CNC machining centers.
Installation and service of major CNC equipment including service hook-up, start up of equipment, basic maintenance, alignment, troubleshooting of problems, and parts procurement of Okuma, Haas & Mori-Seki, Tree, Fanu, Fagor.
Tooling and jig fabrication and repair for manual and CNC machines.
Performs complete machinery overhauls, including TPM program implementation and regular service.
Works from blueprints and service/parts manuals and able to read electrical and electronic schematics.
Perform plumbing, machining, mason, sheet metal fabrication, carpentry, millwright, tile, glass, painter, welding.
Investigates problems, determines needs, and recommends course of action.
Sets up and operates machine tools to make or replacement parts for testing purposes.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10' s and 100' s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

NC Electrician, preferred
