Material Handler s responsibilities are to move products in the warehouse and production, either manually or using equipment such as forklifts. The responsibilities include pulling inventory and moving stock to fulfil orders and putting them on shelves.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Retrieve raw materials from the warehouse to the compounding area according to the needs of the compounders
Accurately and timely transfer the materials from the warehouse location to the compounding location and back using the ERP/ hand held barcode guns
Return raw materials back to the warehouse after usage by the Compounders
Assure inventory accuracy and follow FEFO program
Conduct cycle counting on raw materials as directed by the Production Supervisor/ Manager and as needed
Assure raw material availability in the drum pouring section and replenish as needed
Assist in processing batches as needed
Prepare and replenish solutions used in production
Assure availability of PG and ethanol alcohol totes on the compounding floor
Participate in and perform monthly cycle counting transactions as well as daily cycle counting as needed
Resample batches and submit to QC as needed
Take samples of expired raw and finished goods and submit to QC according to the materials evaluation program
Other duties as needed
Education, Training and/or Work Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics, experience in operating material handling equipment preferred
Forklift--Safety--Respirator Protection---Lock- out Training--GMP
Pre-Employment Screening: Drug screen and background check required.
