WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE MECHANIC ASSEMBLERS & WELDERS!
1ST SHIFT, 4 X 10 HOUR DAYS

DESCRIPTION:
The Mechanic Assembler will perform a variety of operations, assembling parts, installing and testing components necessary in the manufacturing of equipment. This position requires the ability to independently meet production targets with little or no supervision. The primary responsibility of the Mechanic Assembler position is to prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. This position requires a mechanically inclined individual.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 2+ years experience in the fields of mechanics, electrical and hydraulic assembly or repair
  • Ability to perform basic math functions including percentages, ratios, addition, subtraction, and division
  • Knowledge of and ability to use all hand and power tools and measuring instruments
  • Demonstrates the ability to read mechanical prints and work from specifications and technical manuals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and or carry up to 15 lbs constantly and up to 25 lbs occasionally
  • Must be able to push or pull 100 lbs and sit occasionally
  • Capable of working in confined spaces as required for installing parts inside body
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, walk, balance, crouch and reach frequently
  • Must be able to kneel and crawl occasionally
  • Must be able to reach in all directions frequently and handle parts constantly

NECESSARY SKILLS:
  • Ability to operate and work safely around overhead cranes, forklifts and other heavy equipment
  • Ability to follow procedures and understand diagnostic data
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, written assembly instructions and measuring devices such as tape measurers and calipers
  • Follows methods and sequence of operations in performing troubleshooting and repair activities
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and follow directions
  • Attention to details
  • Must have mechanical abilities and knowledge of related hand tools such as wrenches etc. And there functions
  • Follows methods and sequence of operations in performing troubleshooting and repair activities
