Bracing Profiling Machine Operator
Job Description
Chase Staffing is hiring for an Bracing Profiler Machine Operator in the Adairsville, GA area.
Set up and operated bracing and roll-forming machinery to transform metal coils into precise profiles, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to strict dimensional tolerances. Maintained efficient workflow through accurate setup, continuous monitoring, and preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installed and aligned roller dies (tooling) on spindles for production runs
- Loaded metal coils using forklifts or overhead cranes
- Adjusted machine settings for material thickness, speed, and cut-to-length accuracy
- Operated roll-forming lines to ensure consistent material feed and product output
- Monitored production for defects, misalignment, or equipment issues
- Performed first-piece and in-process inspections to verify specifications
Quality Control:
- Measured finished products using calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, and tape measures
- Interpreted blueprints and technical drawings to ensure compliance with tolerances
- Maintained high standards for accuracy and product consistency
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Conducted daily preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, greasing equipment)
- Identified and resolved issues such as jams, roller wear, and alignment problems
- Assisted with machine repairs to minimize downtime
Safety & Systems:
- Followed all safety protocols including PPE and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Utilized SAP work orders and MES systems to track production and workflow
- Maintained a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in metal fabrication or roll-forming operations
- Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient with measuring tools and hand tools
- Experience operating forklifts and/or overhead cranes preferred
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
- High school diploma or GED
