Accounts Receivable Representative position is a customer facing role, responsible for accurate and timely invoicing to insure prompt and undisputed payment for products and services based on the customer terms and/or contract.
-1-3 years Professional experience in a corporate environment.
-Accounts Receivable and /or credit & collections experience
-Advanced skills using financial applications required (e.G. Microsoft Dynamics, Navision)
-Strong Computer Skill-set including: Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel(formulas, vlookup and pivot tables),
-Practical experience with Lotus Notes e-mail a plus
-Ability to Work in a fast-paced Team Environment.
-Perform day-to-day activities related to accounts receivables portfolio management.
-Contact all customers regarding past due balances base on account terms and contract,
-Reprint and resend requested documents to expedite payments,
-Develop and maintain an A/R contact with all customers to insure good working relationships.
-Prepare and email monthly aging reports to all customers.
-Update customer information in the production system
-Review customer invoices for errors.
-Re-bill incorrect invoices where applicable.
-Receive and process credit requests from customers including explanations.
-Create Credit Memo s when approved
-Perform customer claim research and account reconciliations.
-Perform customer payment research.
-Perform special projects in the accounting function as needed.
