A large forwarder are seeking an Ocean Export Specialist to join their growing team in Chicago.

Successful candidates must have;

• 2+ years experience in ocean export

• Cargowise knowledge

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Requirements

• Receive, review, and process export documentation

• Must have a better than average understanding of the Export Regulations

• Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, customers and agents in a timely manner

• Obtain and create quotes for shipments

• Communicate with overseas agents

• Continue to explore different options to reduce cost, and increase revenues

• Track and trace
