$20.00 per hour
Are you an experienced Paralegal looking for an exciting opportunity in the area? Small, dynamic law firm is seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join the team!
As a Paralegal you'll be an essential part of the firm, providing comprehensive support.. Your expertise in drafting and proofreading legal documents, managing case files, and maintaining accurate records will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the legal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and proofread legal documents
- E-File legal documents
- File and organize legal documents
-This is a small but mighty law firm that has call volume from 70-160 calls per day
- Must have strong computer skills
-Must have experience with Social Security (familiar with ERE system), work comp., personal injury, and civil filings
-Bankruptcy experience would be ideal
Must have AMAZING customer service and good energy
Must be able to complete medical brief/Medical summaries
- Assist with case management
- Communicate with clients professionally and promptly
- Help prepare for court hearings
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of paralegal experience
- Must be able to handle cases from beginning to close
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with legal software and technology
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with case management systems preferred
- Friendly phone demeanor and conflict de-escalation skills
- In-office position, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
