Immediate openings for manufacturing facility in Matthews, NC. Previous experience in a manufacturing facility preferred but will train!

Packer/Machine Operator
Rotating shifts - Every 2 Months (8 weeks) From AM to PM and vice versa

Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday (one week)
Monday, Thursday, Friday (the following week)

Must have steel toes!

The shifts are for 12 hour days or nights depending on the openings the client will need.
On Tuesday or Thursday, the candidate will do an HR orientation and Safety orientation, from 9am until 5pm.
The candidate then comes back the next day on Wednesday and works from 8am until 4 pm. The shift will eventually become a rotating shift every 8 weeks from days to nights or vice versa.

Duties
Prepare packaging for finished product by placing labeling and building pallets
Ability to read production sheets to ensure proper specs for product being produced and packed.
Inspect product. Document product inspections and report concerns promptly to machine operator or supervisor.
Remove finished product from production line and package neatly in boxes or bulk.
Weigh finished cases and record accurate weights
Must have ability to keep up with production process and daily production goals.
Examples:
Ability to keep up with production line(s).
Ability to keep finished product picked up and stacked neatly
Ability to complete all necessary paperwork as required

Skills:
Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
Quality Control
Strong Basic Math Skills
Ability to read and use a tape measure

Experience and Education:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred

Pay
$11/hr for days and $11.65/hr for nights
