Job Summary
The Production Process Engineer will assist with planning and implementing shop floor process improvements for product assembly and testing. Assist with the development and implementation of lean manufacturing methods. The Production Process Engineer will liaise with our Operations Manager, Supervisor or Lead, Logistics Manager, Logistics Supervisor or Lead, Production Planning department, and other Production Process Engineers. The ideal candidate must be a problem solver at heart and an independent thinker. They must successfully thrive in a machine assembly environment while applying practical manufacturing concepts and methods.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Production Process Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
Plan production requirements for the engine assembly line based on production levels.
Research, create, and maintain production material system documentation (same as a technical writer)
Research, create, and maintain production assembly BOM documentation.
Maintain production documentation.
Determine technical resources (tools, equipment, infrastructure) needed to accomplish engine assembly.
Research, determine, and implement plant floor layout and operational methods.
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Individual Contributor (No Direct Reports)
Travel Demands: Anticipated local and domestic travel is approximately 0-10% depending on business needs.

Project management with the ability to manage people, budgets, and complex projects and bring them to completion on time and budget.
