Client located in Greer, SC is in the market for a BUYER/PLANNER
Hours: 8am-5pm (M-F)
Pay: $55,000 - $66,500 (Depends on Experience)
This client keeps the industries of the world turning with tailor-made gear systems, proactive servicing, and cutting-edge monitoring solutions. Designed with their customers in mind, their systems support a wide range of critical industries, powering some of the world’s most demanding application.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and support Sales and Production on service repair jobs.
Purchase parts for rebuilds and spare parts.
Assist on pricing of repair jobs and spare parts.
Purchase parts needed for service repairs and spare parts.
Monitor purchase orders and update service repair schedule.
Update SAP database for externally provided processes, products and services approval
Assist on field service jobs (pricing).
REPORTING
Supply Chain Manager.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 / 5 years work experience.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
New employee basic training (form F_7.2_10).
Internal systems & product training during first week orientation.
Computer training if not proficient in Microsoft office.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Appropriate purchasing qualification.
Thorough knowledge of company mechanical products.
Detail oriented.
Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
Knowledge of gearing industry.
Computer literacy.
