Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Planning, managing, leading and carrying out supply chain projects both nationally and internationally, taking into account the cost/benefit analysis and in compliance with the defined budget
  • Defining, monitoring and assigning work packages and action plans to the defined project team as part of CU SCM projects or plant-specific projects
  • Drawing up integrated logistics concepts and standards for SCM by consulting the relevant points of contact and observing the customer and supplier requirements
  • Identifying and analyzing potential optimization measures in the supply chain to achieve continuous improvements and ensure lessons learned/best practice, by using the relevant tools and methods and initiating the corresponding measures
  • Shaping and implementing the planning for the flows of material, layout and warehousing in a way that provides a cost-effective solution, working in coordination with the plants and CU4P
  • Planning and moderating interdisciplinary workshops/training sessions relating to SCM in order to create a common understanding of the processes and to optimize the supply chain
  • Developing, realizing and globally implementing innovative solutions relating to SCM, incl. the relevant interfaces
  • Implementing the developed SCM process design and/or optimization measures in collaboration with the internal technical departments and EK plants
  • Process Owner for technical matters relating to SCM, and developing optimization measures for interface processes.
  • Actively collaborating/maintaining a dialogue with technical departments in order to support and expand standardization in SCM and comply with project milestones governing the schedule, quality and budget
  • Supervising, advising and supporting the ElringKlinger plants in Germany and abroad and the Key Users on site with process improvements and standardization matters relating to SCM
  • Creating tools/aids in the form of Excel worksheets or macros for SCM in order to ensure and comply with defined standards, processes and results
  • Checking the stability of the SCM processes using the defined SCM KPI reporting and operational SAP report, incl. initiating the relevant measures in the event of any deviations, working in coordination with the Manager
  • Documenting, communicating and conducting long-term checks on the standards introduced that relate to SCM


Minimum Requirements:

  • Beachelors Degree in the field of Economics
  • Warehouse Logistics
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience
