Job Description

Our ideal Sample Lab Test Technician will work individually as well as in a team environment with an ever-changing day-to-day schedule. They can fully understand each application by efficiently obtaining the required details by utilizing all available resources of request information, including detailed request forms, email, and direct communications with requestor.

Bonus points for experience with printers or technology. Experience in a manufacturing environment with operator skills on industrial coders.

In your primary role, you will:

Validate whether equipment and/or supplies will successfully meet or exceed the expectations set forth by the requestor's needs.

Display ownership of issues by organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating daily with teammates or team leaders to guarantee high-quality delivery with a sense of urgency to make the most significant impact on the current business needs.

Provide well-timed communications with members of our commercial sales, technical support and/or customers via both phone and email with professional courtesy.

Tailor equipment settings to adequately meet or exceed the application requirements within equipment limitations.

Evaluate results to assess overall quality as well as performance and determine need for adjustment. Provide complete, precise test results electronically via Salesforce.

Your Education and/or Background Experience will have:

High School Diploma (GED) or higher preferred with formalized training in electronics or mechanics.

Basic ability to test the functionality of machines and subassemblies.

Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance.
