Job Description

Chase Staffing is currently hiring a Seamstress in the Marietta, GA area.


Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Machine Operation:Operating various types of sewing machines, including single needle, double needle, and serging machines. 

  • Material Handling:Loading and positioning fabric, thread, and other materials under the machine needle, often using guides or templates. 

  • Stitching and Assembly:Guiding materials to create seams, hems, or decorative stitching, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. 

  • Quality Control:Inspecting finished products for defects, ensuring proper stitching, measurements, and alignment of patterns and colors. 

  • Machine Maintenance:Monitoring machine operation for issues, replacing thread and needles, and performing basic maintenance or reporting problems. 

  • Material Preparation:Cutting excess thread and fabric, folding and stretching materials, and preparing items for sewing. 

  • Record Keeping:May track the quantity of materials processed or other production data. 

  • Following Instructions:Reading and interpreting work orders, production schedules, and quality control standards.

  • Must have sewing machine experience
