Job Description
?? NOW HIRING – SHIPPING CLERK / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT ??
?? Temple, GA
?? $17.00 per hour
?? Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (or until the last truck leaves)
??? Lunch: 1:00 PM–2:00 PM

Requirements:
? 2+ years of RECENT Shipping Clerk, Shipping Office, or Administrative experience
? Reliable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic
? Team player with a positive attitude
? Steel-toe boots required
? Must be able to stand, bend, walk, and lift throughout the shift
? Must pass a criminal background check and 10-panel drug screen
? High school diploma required
? Intermediate Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills
Job Responsibilities:

Support the Shipping Manager with daily shipping operations
-
Prepare flatbed, hotshot, LTL, and milk run shipments

Contact carriers and coordinate truck availability

Communicate with customers, drivers, installers, and carriers
-
Process shipping paperwork and maintain shipping records
-
Monitor shipping schedules and shipment tracking
-
Maintain driver files and shipping documentation
-
Audit paperwork and assist with office reporting

Answer phones, emails, and provide administrative support

Attend production meetings and assist with shipping office operations

Fill in for the Shipping Manager when needed
