Our client is looking for a Shipping Associate, who can work 1st shift only.

Job Duties:

• Pull, process, and ship orders in compliance with the federal and international dangerous goods regulations visa Federal Express or a common carrier.

• Receive and assign lot number/part number and stock raw materials as they are delivered.

• Transfer finished goods out of production and stock in warehouse appropriately.

• Enter FedEx orders into computer billing system.

• Assist in relabeling of product per requirement of foreign shipping destinations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/ GED

• Communication skills both written and verbal

• Basic math skills; two digit addition and subtraction; multiplication and division of 10's and 100's. Ability to apply these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

• A commitment to continuous quality and productivity improvement

• Hold a certification in the shipping of dangerous goods and understand the various requirements of shipping the numerous types (12+) of hazardous products handled for each mode of transport.

• Physical Demands:

• Required to regularly stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

• Lift 10 pounds regularly, lift and move up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
