Job Title: Shipping Clerk
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay$18.00
Job Summary:
Chase Technical Staffing is currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Clerk for a well-established company in Elk Grove Village, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, verifying, and processing outgoing shipments in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare outgoing shipments by labeling packages and verifying contents.

Generate packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping labels.

Coordinate with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, and freight companies.

Ensure accuracy of orders and inventory prior to shipment.

Maintain a clean and organized shipping area.

Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment (if certified).

Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and supervisors.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Reliable and punctual work ethic.
