Newnan GA 30263 small manufacturer is looking for an experienced Shipping Coordinator - 1st shift

Operations & Production Support:

• Oversee shipping operations and address inefficiencies.

• Assist with production by running buns off the line.

• Ensure proper handling and storage of buns.

• Work with production teams to maintain efficiency.

Team Leadership & Training:

• Train new employees in shipping, safety, and best practices.

• Enforce workplace safety policies and maintain a hazard-free environment.

• Fill in for absent team members as needed.

• Foster a team-oriented and flexible work environment.

Requirements

• Forklift certification (current) is required. 2 years experience minimum

• Experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.

• Strong inventory management and people leadership skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.

• Able to lift 50 lbs. and work flexible hours when needed.

• High school diploma or GED required.

Desirable Characteristics:

• Experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination, preferably in manufacturing.

• Strong organization, attention to detail, and leadership skills.

• Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
