Job Title: TIG Welder
Location: Elg Grove Village, IL
Pay Rate: $24.00 – $26.00/hour
Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 6:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. (Overtime often until 4:30 P.M.)

• Saturday: 6:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. (Mandatory if needed, depending on workload)

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced TIG Welders to join our team and contribute to the fabrication and manufacturing of high-quality metal parts. The ideal candidate will be able to step in with minimal training, follow blueprints with precision, and produce strong, clean welds that meet exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and manufacture metal parts in accordance with blueprints and specifications.

• Follow blueprints and welding symbols to ensure accuracy and quality.

• Perform TIG welding and operate metal fabrication tools.

• Produce strong, clean welds that meet quality and tolerance standards.

• Grind, finish, and inspect completed welds for strength and accuracy.

• Test welded output to ensure it meets required specifications.

• Maintain a safe and organized work area.

• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven TIG welding experience (2+ years preferred), ideally in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong blueprint reading skills and knowledge of welding symbols—must be able to work independently without additional training.

• Proficiency in TIG welding, grinding, finishing metals, and general metal fabrication.

• Ability to stand, crouch, and lift heavy equipment as needed.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.

• Must pass a weld test, drug test, and background check prior to hire.
